course of lifetime

LIFE IS A ROLLER COASTER AND SOME TIMES YOU JUST NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT AS THE SITUATION COMES YOU JUST NEED TO TAKE THE BEST OUT OF EVERY LITTLE THINGS LIFE TEACHES YOU IN DIFFERENT WAYS. THERE WAS A CHANCE WHEN I GOT TO MEET MY PALS AFTER A LONG BREAK IN THE FORM OF RIGROUS TRAINING IN A CLASSROOM, A SIX MONTH CAPSULE PROGRAMME RELATED TO THE TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF MY PROFESSION. THE BONDING BEGAN FROM DAY ONE , FEW WHO WERE NOT KNOWN BECAME THICK PALS FOR LIFE, THAT’S THE STORY OF THIS COURSE. WE HAD DIFFRENCES BUT NEVER FELT THAT ANY ONE WAS OUT OF THE PACK, ALL THOUGHT OF PROBLEMS AND GAVE DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS, SOMETIMES REALLY WEIRD ONES, BUT IN THE END ALL WAS A PART OF GREAT MEMORIES THAT EACH ONE OF US WOULD CHERISH FOR YEARS TO COME. IT WAS BACK TO SCHOOL DAYS, WHERE THERE WAS NO URGE TO SURPASS A COURSEMATE FOR A HIGHER PROMOTION, ALL PLAYED, STUDIED AND LAUGHED TOGETHER.LUCKY ARE THOSE WHO GET TO DO SUCH A COURSE IN CAREER WHERE YOUR PRIORITIES DO CHANGE, BUT, ...

Give justice to your true potential

Pals,  Life is very simple and unfortunately short too. Time does not stop and it keeps moving with its own space. Sometimes, we all feel disheartened by circumstances or happenings which are unpleasant and ironically we can not really do much about it to change.  There are people around us who might cause dissatisfaction at certain level eg. -:   a) By boss, if you are his subordinate. b) As a boss you do not like your team's output. c) Team itself, in which few work harder and accolades are taken away by someone else. Happiness is a relative term. We should make an attempt to give our best and try to work up to the best of our capabilities & potential. I am not talking to do wonders and create mind blowing inventions that can make positive changes in the world. Certainly , not every one has been bestowed with that kind of intellect & wisdom but , what is quite possible is that; each one can TRY their level best to work at his maximum poten...

passion towards dream leads to happiness

Hii im doin gr8 nd I would like to tell u sports gives u a lot of insight to rational thinking, strategy and above all fighting spirit that helps any individual to succeed in life.I love lawn tennis, right from childhood I was in love with this game. The irony was; it is a very difficult sport to learn and I did not have the facility to either play or learn from any coach, as I was in mountains. However, the love and passion was so intense that I tried to watch all major grand slams like Aus open,French open, Wimbledon, and US open. I watched videos repeatedly and tried to imitate the shots. There were instances when frustration creeped up but hope and continuous efforts towards your goals somehow make an impact in making dat DREAM   come true. At age 12, I got first opportunity to play tennis and believe me folks it was much tougher than what I thought. In videos, it seemed a bit simpler but soon I realised that these videos would help me to sharpen my game. Nothing comes on a...

A Train which took the blessings!!

Hiiiii pals my name is alfred and I am a driver of a vehicle which   is used in areas where almost every moment   there is a possibility of a bullet hitting you. Yes it’s a "no man’s land” zone or you can say a zone where no one is right or wrong or may be everyone is wrong but the fact is that, as the job is demanding so are the risks involved with it. My wife is new to this culture and she is scared whether I would make it to home this time when I get leave. Ah! the problem is leave is not guaranteed or it is not a right but a privilege, my boss says so..:(:( I really wanted to go home but my boss is equally in a very difficult situation, though nice at heart; and it is not his fault that he is not able to give me leave. Irony is that, he has some important work at home and he has requested me to hold my leave until he is back. As the new boss is new to location and due to my exposure I know the critical routes which would be important for lot of tasks in his absence. I ...

Value of a green chillie

Hii pals I am back, my name is Jonathan and I was at 18000 ft and it’s a short story about a small incidence which I consider myself as lucky to witness as a young lad , all of 23 years old. So here it is- It was a month where snow was falling non stop; we all were in a post which was at 18000 ft and away from the world . The closest region was of enemy and of course we were not friendly with them..:).It was 6 months on the trot and we had not seen fresh vegetables and fresh food , it was tinned food and added preservatives. The oxygen was so less that you could hardly relish what you ate, the irony was such that snow had to be melted to get water and folks, water had to be taken deliberately so as to get oxygen molecules; trust me who have tasted snow water can agree with me it is very bad in taste. Nevertheless   we held our ground bravely. One fine moment my sergeant came up to me and said “ Sir take this 100 dollars and please get me one green chilies , I have not tasted sp...

story of a brave dog

Image
bravado!!! hey pals sit back and read this story carefully!! It was a very cold winter morning. Temperature close to -40 degree, visibility near to zero. Wind was blowing at a velocity of 120 km/hr. At 1800ft you definitely see life at a different angle. Life and danger are two sides of same coin.On one of the such moment men staying in igloo  wanted to hear cricket commentary as world cup was around the corner. There was no way this wish could have been met. Radio was old fashioned but Tv could not function there either.Only wireless radio sets were there to communicate. This is the time when you realize how important radio was, as an invention to mankind..:) One ray of hope was in the form of an extra radio which was at a different cliff. This cliff  was separated by avalanche prone valley; for humans, it was impossible to even step out & think of negotiating this stretch. But for 4 months men had not seen life, they were totally cut off from world and boredom w...
